Who I am

A healthcare marketer who started in the pharmacy.

I trained at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, then built my marketing career inside global pharma: early roles at Pfizer and AbbVie, then Johnson & Johnson, where as EMEA Emerging Markets Product Manager for biologics and immunology at Janssen I created the first unified Simponi campaign, “Where others stop, Simponi prevails”, and led its launch to marketing teams across EMEA emerging markets.

Since then I have led digital transformation for international markets at LIPTIS Pharmaceuticals, marketing and business development for two of the region’s largest laboratory networks, IDH Group and Alborg Diagnostics, the launch and FDA readiness of the digital health products Polyfins Technologies and Eczemaless AI, and marketing for Lemon Pharmacies in Riyadh. I am Marketing and Digital Transformation Director at BioNixus Group, and I serve as an industry expert to investors and consultancies through GLG, AlphaSights, Guidepoint and Dialectica.

What healthcare marketing covers

Five healthcare sectors, one discipline.

Healthcare marketing is the work of earning the trust of clinicians, pharmacists, payers, hospital buyers and patients, inside rules that decide what you may say and to whom. The sectors differ in buyers, evidence and channels. The discipline is the same: a clear commercial objective, a message that survives medical and legal review, and a measurable line from activity to prescriptions, contracts or patients.

How I work

A growth system built for regulated markets.

The same five moves run through every engagement, whether the client is a biologics brand, a device maker or a hospital group. AI and automation are the “how”; healthcare is the “who”.

  • 01

    Objective and buyer map

One commercial objective written in business language, then a map of who decides, who influences and who blocks: specialists, pharmacists, procurement, payers, patients. Market research and real-world insight before creative.

  • 02

    Positioning that survives review

A value story built on the evidence you can substantiate, written with medical and legal reviewers in the room from the first draft, in Arabic and English where the market needs both.

  • 03

    Omnichannel engagement

Field, medical education, email, WhatsApp, webinars, HCP portals and search, sequenced so each touch builds on the last, with consent and preference captured along the way.

  • 04

AI and automation where work repeats

Segmentation, lead scoring, next-best-action, follow-up and reporting automated inside your CRM, so a small team runs a large program and every interaction is logged for compliance.

  • 05

Measurement that answers the business question

Dashboards that connect activity to prescriptions, tenders, admissions or tests, with honest attribution of what marketing moved and what moved alongside it.

FAQ

Questions about working with a healthcare marketing expert.

What does a healthcare marketing expert do?

A healthcare marketing expert sets the commercial strategy for a healthcare product or service and makes it work inside the rules of the sector: who to reach (clinicians, pharmacists, payers, hospital buyers or patients), what evidence to lead with, which channels to use, how to pass medical and legal review, and how to measure the result in prescriptions, contracts, admissions or tests rather than clicks. I do this as a fractional CMO, a project lead or an advisor.

How is healthcare marketing different from other B2B marketing?

Three things change. The buyer is an expert who checks every claim against evidence. The rules decide what you may say, to whom and through which channel, and they differ between the US, Europe and MENA. And the decision is shared across clinicians, procurement, payers and patients, so the sales cycle is long and the message must hold across all of them. The growth system is the same as in any B2B market; the inputs are stricter.

Which healthcare companies do you work with?

Pharmaceutical and biotech companies, medtech and diagnostics makers, digital health and health tech start-ups, hospital and clinic groups, laboratory networks and pharmacy chains. My own record covers Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and AbbVie in pharma, LIPTIS Pharmaceuticals, IDH Group and Alborg Diagnostics in diagnostics, Polyfins Technologies and Eczemaless AI in digital health, and Lemon Pharmacies in retail pharmacy.

Do you work with companies in the United States and Europe, or only the Middle East?

Both. Most fractional CMO clients are in the United States, and I work remotely with overlap in US hours. In the Middle East I bring direct market experience from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Egypt, in Arabic and English. I have supported businesses in 27+ countries.

Are you a consultant or an agency?

A consultant and marketing leader, not an agency. I own the strategy, the plan and the result, and I direct your in-house team and agencies to execute it. Where you have no team, I bring trusted specialists and remain accountable for the outcome.

How do we start, and what does it cost?

Start with the free 12-question growth assessment, which shows where marketing and sales are leaking, then book a strategy call. Fractional work is priced per agreed days a month; projects are scoped with a fixed fee; advisory calls are priced per hour. You get a written scope before anything starts.
